The Carbon Market

The global carbon market is currently valued at $150 Billion (2009) and is forecasted to grow to $1 Trillion by 2020 as more countries pass legislation and ratify protocals which establish emissions reduction targets.

In addition, there are extremely favorable regulatory measures pertaining to carbon forestry currently being passed by the US Congress in the US Climate Bill (H.R. 2454 American Clean Energy and Security Act) and being approved by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in its December 2009 Copenhagen convention.
